Wheelmap.org signed a cooperation agrement with the Erasmus Student Network in May 2014 in the framework of their collaboration in the ExchangeAbility and Mapability

Wheelmap.org is an online map to search, find and mark wheelchair-accessible places. The tool empowers people with a mobility impairment like wheelchair users, parents with a stroller or the elderly to be more mobile and efficient in their daily routine.
Wheelmap is available on the internet and as an app for iPhone and Android..
Like with Wikipedia, everyone can participate everywhere by tagging places according to a simple traffic light system. Local groups and companies can get involved by organising mapping events or corporate social days.

Since 2010, over 440.000 entries have been crowdsourced worldwide by a large community. Wheelmap is based on the free geodata of OpenStreetMap.org. It is an initiative of SOZIALHELDEN e.V., a German non-profit association located in Berlin.
